Galen Ryan Kane is an American actor, encamping in New York City. A new presence in both stage and film, from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, born of Baltimore City. Kane is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama (where notable alumni include Angela Basset, Tarrell Alvin McCraney, Lupita N'yongo and Meryl Streep).Galen Ryan Kane was born on August 25, 1990 in Baltimore City, MD. He is the only child of an Army Reserve mother, Donna Dawson, from St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, and a longshoremen father, Ryan Kane, from Baltimore, Maryland. In Baltimore, he lived on Wolfe street until he was later sent to the Islands to live with his grandmother, aunts and cousins. He attended undergraduate at HBCU's University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he concentrated his studies in Marketing. He also studied Photography at Boston CDIA in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. He enjoys the study of martial arts, writing, and independent research, which he picked up during the "night owl hours" at Yale. Hide
