Jamie, a high school cheerleader rejects Chris when he tells her he loves her by saying she just want to be friends. Disheartened, Chris goes to live in another country where he changes himself to be a playboy. He then returns to his hometown after 10 years, and sees Jamie. He desires to redeem his past be asking her out again, but soon discovers that it is even harder than before.
