Since moving to Atlanta, GA in December of 2013, TJ has performed in many productions from short films, stage productions, to feature length films as the Leading Man. His inspirations are Denzel Washington and Sidney Poitier, two mentors that he studies extensively as he perfects his own craft and niche.TJ Jackson is the first born of Jonathan Jackson & Yvonne Wilson, all the way from Tyler, TX. He spent 15 years of his life there before relocating to Baltimore, MD to live with his father. TJ always had a knack for the performing arts, participating in many church events, particular in the music ministry. However, it wasn't until his senior year at Glen Burnie High School when he found his acting chops.Initially taking a Theatre I class in 12th grade figuring it would be an easy "A", TJ didn't expect to fall in love with the art. He was assigned to perform a monologue from the production "A Raisin in the Sun", and from that moment - the performance as well as the warm reception from the audience - acting had become a newly found love of his. He would go on to participate in the Hampton Players (a student-run production at Hampton University) before landing his first supporting role in the movie, "Sister Sonya's Prayer Group".With so many things on the horizon, TJ believes that God is answering His prayer of being able to inspire, encourage, and motivate people from the platform of acting. His belief for anyone chasing their dreams is that the sky is NOT the limit, it is ONLY the beginning...so dream BIG! Hide
