Toni grew up in Rhode Island with her proud Italian American heritage playing a part in many facets of her life. Maintaining strong family ties, this only child has been cultivating her imagination since age 7 when she decided to entertain her family by recording a fictional talk show voicing ALL seven characters herself. Thus, her acting career is comprised of 20+ years of credits in theater, studio and independent films, television, commercials, industrials and voiceovers. Commercially, she has been seen as the face of iShares and the US Army and heard as the voice of Fidelity, Crestor, Humira, Walmart, Mylicon, Cumberland Farms and Publix Market, to name a few. Her theatrical credits include TV shows Law & Order SVU, The Blacklist, The Mysteries of Laura, Taxi Brooklyn, Blue Bloods, The Following and Nurse Jackie and feature films Nasty Baby with Kristen Wiig, Alto with Diana DeGarmo and Annabella Sciorra, Where God Left His Shoes with John Leguizamo and Riding In Cars With Boys with Drew Barrymore, among others.Married to a restaurateur over 25 years, she is the true definition of a hyphenate and has been a creative presence involved in many aspects of the entertainment industry. A passion for all things creative, a career in front of and behind the camera that spans over 20 years, and a love of independent film inspired her to open Shake The Tree Productions in the hopes of expanding horizons for multi-cultural awareness using character driven projects, ethnic diversity and non-gender specific hiring of cast and crew. She hopes to keep the true meaning of independent film alive by adapting to today's market utilizing all new media and it's cutting edge technology but staying true to the company's motto...Dedicated to the art of story telling. Toni has worked as a Producer, Director, Script Supervisor, 1st AD, 2nd AD, HMU, Production Coordinator, Casting Director, Location Scout, Script Supervisor and Production Consultant as well as an Actor. She has extensive knowledge about the film and television business. Full of a variety of assets, her "get it done" mentality is unstoppable. Getting to work on a myriad of projects of diverse subject matters with some immensely talented cast and crew has been a fulfilling and enjoyable part of her eclectic, successful career. Recent producing credits include: The Scripted Television Pilots Staff and Breakhouse. The unscripted TV Series Family Lot, The B & B Diaries and Julia's Kitchen...Not that Julia. The award nominated music video for Antigone Rising That Was The Whiskey and the recently released feature film, Alto. After a 14 film festival run with several awards and accolades such as The Audience Award and Best Production Design (Visionfest Domani Film Society Film Festival 2015) and Jury Award Best Women's Feature (North Carolina Gay and Lesbian Film Festival 2015) among others, Alto was picked up for US and Worldwide distribution by the venerated company, Cinema Libre. Starring Diana DeGarmo (American Idol), Annabella Sciorra (Sopranos, What Dreams May Come), Ward Horton (Annabelle), Lin Tucci (SAG Winning actress Orange Is The New Black) and Lou Martini Jr. (Sopranos, The Americans, Orange Is The New Black), Alto can be found on multiple digital platforms including Amazon, Vimeo and iTunes. Several of her writing endeavors are in development, Fallen Princess, No Alternative, Take The Shot and An Unfamiliar Life. Producing her first $1M+ feature, a Lou Martini, Jr. scripted film called Honor (which she will also star), this film boasts Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Winner, Joe Bologna, at the helm directing. It's slated to shoot late Summer 2016. Toni has multiple film and television projects on her slate for 2017, 2018 and 2019.Toni strives to give back by volunteering. Having been a first responder after Hurricane Sandy in the Breezy Point communities, she worked tirelessly in conjunction with The Roxbury Volunteer Fire Dept. to help the community in its recovery efforts.
